It’s Time to Get Video on Wikipedia

Wikipedia is one of the most amazing knowledge resources on the Internet, featuring millions of articles and images, but it sorely lacks a certain (very important) type of content – video. For this reason the Open Video Alliance is launching a mass campaign to bring video to Wikipedia. The central site for the project is Let’s Get Video on Wikipedia , featuring a tutorial on how to post videos to Wikipedia as well as a gallery of some of the recently posted videos. There’s also good news for those who were struggling to convert videos to Theora, which is the open video format used by Wikipedia.
