Columbia Pictures has just launched the official website for The Social Network , 500MillionFriends.com . David Fincher’s take on the Facebook story is highly anticipated by film fans and social media addicts alike. The site opens into a large-form portal with photos, videos and cast information, all arranged in a very Facebook-like collage. The new site carries on the same theme used in the teasers , trailers and TV spots for the film. HP’s Phil McKinney teases three mystery prototypes on Twitter

Well, this is certainly interesting -- that's HP CTO Phil McKinney pictured above in a pair of redacted shots that were posted to Twitter by HP's Mark Budgell. Described only as "early protos" by McKinney himself, the pictures show what appears to be phone-sized device, a tablet-sized device and, perhaps most curiously, something on McKinney's wrist (all mysteriously blacked out). Before you get your hopes up too much about a new wave of webOS devices, however, you might want to take a look at the second part of Budgell's tweet, which encourages folks to vote for McKinney's SXSW 2011 panel -- a panel in which McKinney promises to make some "bold predictions for the future - backed up with a number of breakthrough prototypes," and specifically talk about what the future will look like in "5 to 10 years." Now, we can't be certain of course, but that doesn't exactly suggest these are right around the corner. Head on past the break for a slightly bigger image.

Exclusive: LG C900 for AT&T has Windows Phone 7, shows off a little carrier branding

If you're prepping for a Windows Phone 7 purchase later this year and the Cetus doesn't really do it for you, we understand -- not everyone can live without a physical keyboard, and devices like the Touch Pro2 have gotten us used to the idea that Windows Mobile and great QWERTY go hand-in-hand. To that end, we present to you the LG C900, a rounded landscape slider equipped with a four-row keyboard and a simplified two-button capacitive layout beneath the screen paired with a chrome Windows key. Notably, this is the first time we've seen carrier branding on Windows Phone 7's home screen in the wild -- you can see AT&T's logo prominently displayed as a tile in one of the pictures in the gallery after the break. We're not sure we're digging the matte plasticky look up front, but to each his own, we suppose. 7 Perfect Posterous Themes for Multimedia Blogs

Posterous has been around since 2006, but the super-simple blogging platform is still relatively unknown when compared to blog giants like WordPress and Tumblr . If that sentence didn’t mean anything to you then, ironically, Posterous was designed for you. The platform takes all the functionality and impressive visuals from (sometimes complicated) services like WordPress and distills the tech side of things to let you focus on sharing content. Posterous allows you to write blogs from your own e-mail and auto-formats your media to fit.
